Tapping machines from Promash

A tapping machine cuts threads in holes quickly and squarely, without moving the workpiece under a drilling machine. The category has 21 Metallkraft and Optimum models priced from €774 to €2,717 incl. VAT.

Most models have a swivel arm that is positioned freely above the workpiece. The Metallkraft GS electric machines and the Optimum OPTIdrill DG servo machines run on 230 V: the OPTIdrill DG 36 taps from M5 to M36 with an 1180 mm arm, and the GS 1700-36 E BL from M6 to M36 with a 1700 mm arm. The pneumatic GS 1000-12 P works at 6–8 bar and taps from M3 to M12. The GS 18 is a hand-held electric machine with a reversing gear, for threads up to M18 in steel in short-time operation.

Four models are also offered as a set with a base frame. For the holes before tapping see the metal drilling machines.
