Profile and tube bending machines

The tube and profile bending machine bends metal without crushing it and without heating it — for railings, frames, structures, pipe installations and arches. What tube and profile bending machines are there?

We offer bending machines in three types: manual universal benders for flat and round material, tube benders with manual or hydraulic force, and three-roll profile bending machines that roll tubes and profiles into an arc. The choice depends on the profile, the wall thickness and the radius.

Manual bending machines

The UB 10 universal machine bends cold up to 180° with a stop for accurate repetition. The UB 11 is an attachment for spirals and bends flat metal 5 × 25 mm. The mobile RB 30 bends thin-walled tubes without supporting elements and comes with six bending segments from Ø14 mm.

HRB 10 hydraulic tube bender

10 tonnes of force, a piston stroke of 155 mm and six segments from ½″ to 2″ — tubes from 20 to 59 mm. Suitable for water, copper and composite pipes, with a hinged frame and a stand. It costs €510.

PRM profile bending machines

The motorised PRM 31 F and PRM 35 F and the hydraulic PRM 40 FH to PRM 100 FH roll tubes, box sections, round profiles and angle sections into an arc. The PRM 31 F bends at 4 m/min and has a mobile foot pedal. The PRM 50 FH rolls, for example, a 50.8 × 2.9 mm round tube to a minimum diameter of 1,000 mm.

How to choose a bending machine?

First determine what you are bending: a tube, a box section, an angle section or flat steel, and with what wall thickness. Then — an angle or an arc. The tube bender makes angles and elbows, and the profile bending machine rolls arcs with a large radius.

• Tube diameter: up to 25 mm for the RB 30, up to 59 mm for the HRB 10, up to 38.1 mm for the PRM 31 F and up to 50.8 mm for the PRM 35 F and PRM 50 FH.
• Drive: manual for single parts, electromechanical or hydraulic for production runs and thick profiles.
• Minimum radius: see the capacity table on the machine's page — it is different for each profile.
• Rollers and segments: each profile needs suitable rollers; bending rollers and segments are in the sheet metal working accessories.

What are bending machines used for?

Tube and profile bending machines are used for the production of railings, fences, gates, canopies and arches, for pipe installations and air conditioning, for metal furniture, frames and trailers. They work in metal and blacksmith workshops, at installation companies and in the production of structures.

The manual benders and the HRB 10 are convenient on site. The profile bending machines stay in the shop and roll runs of identical arcs — for example for the arches of canopies and greenhouses.
