Wet and dry vacuum cleaners

The wet and dry vacuum cleaner picks up both dust and water — chips from the machine, mud from the workshop floor, spilled liquid in the warehouse. Types of wet and dry vacuum cleaners

The models are divided into two series — wetCAT and flexCAT — and by tank size and number of motors. The small ones have one motor and 16–20 l, the large ones two motors and up to 62 l.

Compact models up to 20 l

wetCAT 118 has 18 l and 1200 W — for €108. wetCAT 120 RH has 20 l, and wetCAT 116 E and flexCAT 116 PD have 16 l and an airflow above 3300 l/min.

Workshop models 30–37 l

wetCAT 131 IRH (30 l), wetCAT 137 E (37 l), wetCAT 133 IE and 133 IR (33 l) and flexCAT 135 O (35 l) are for everyday work in a shop and workshop. wetCAT 133 IR has a 4 m hose.

Large models

wetCAT 262 IET has 62 l and two motors. wetCAT 130 RS M-Class has 3600 W and class M for more hazardous dust.

How to choose a wet and dry vacuum cleaner?

Choose according to volume: a small tank is light and convenient, but fills quickly with water. For everyday work in a workshop take at least 30 l. Then compare the airflow, the hose length and the noise level.

• Tank. 16, 18, 20, 30, 33, 35, 37 or 62 l.
• Airflow. 1750 l/min for the wetCAT 118, 3333 l/min for the wetCAT 137 E and 133, 4200 l/min for the wetCAT 130 RS M-Class.
• Hose. 32–38 mm diameter, length 2 or 4 m.
• Noise. From 71.2 dB(A) for the wetCAT 116 E and 137 E to 79 dB(A) for the wetCAT 118.
• Cable. 8.5 m on most models — enough for a large room without an extension lead.

What is it used for?

The wet and dry vacuum cleaner is for workshops, car repair shops, car washes, construction sites, warehouses, hotels and restaurants. With it you clean chips and dust from machines, collect water after washing the floor, and pick up mud and liquids.

If you work only with dry fine dust — from sanding or cutting concrete — look at the industrial dry vacuum cleaners with classes M and H. For cleaning carpets there is a special extractor.
