Press brakes from Promash

The press brake bends sheet metal at an angle along a straight line — for boxes, gutters, cladding, profiles and covers. The apron press brake holds the sheet with an upper beam, and the lower beam (the "apron") swings and bends the edge. At Promash there are five Metallkraft apron press brakes — two manual and three motorised, with prices from €226.80 to €24,588.

What sheet metal press brakes are there?

Our apron press brakes are manual and motorised. The manual ones bend thin sheet up to 1 mm with the two handles of the beam and are for workshops and installation work. The motorised ones bend up to 3 mm and up to 2,520 mm wide, with a motor that takes the effort.

Manual apron press brakes

The HSBM 305 HS is a compact press brake with a width of 305 mm for sheet up to 1 mm — for small parts and workshop use, for €270. The HSBM 1020-10 bends steel up to 1 mm at 1,020 mm, with a clamping device and adjustment of the upper beam. It costs €1,294.80.

Motorised apron press brakes

The MSBM 2020-15 C S bends 1.5 mm at 2,020 mm width, up to 135°. The MSBM 2020-10 C S has a working width of 2,520 mm for sheet up to 1 mm. The MSBM 1520-30 bends up to 3 mm at 1,520 mm, with motorised bending, manual control of the upper beam and a continuous rail for sharp bending.

How to choose a press brake?

Choose a press brake by two dimensions — the widest sheet and the thickest sheet metal you bend. The manufacturer gives the thickness for steel with a strength of 400 N/mm², so for stainless steel the capabilities are lower. For thin sheet metal and single parts a manual press brake is enough, for production runs and sheet over 1 mm — a motorised one.

  • Working width: 305, 1,020, 1,520, 2,020 or 2,520 mm.
  • Thickness: 1 mm for the manual ones, 1–1.5 mm for the MSBM 2020 and 3 mm for the MSBM 1520-30.
  • Bending angle: up to 135° for the MSBM 2020-15 C S.
  • Drive and power supply: the motorised ones are for 400 V, with a 0.75 or 1.1 kW motor.

What is a press brake used for?

The press brake is used for bending sheet metal in roofing and façade work, ventilation and air conditioning, the production of metal boxes, panels, cabinets, covers and machine casings. In sheet metal shops it stands after the guillotine shear: the sheet is first cut to size, then bent.

The manual press brake is convenient for sheet metal workers, workshops and installation crews. The motorised one is for production, where hundreds of identical parts are bent. If you first need cutting to size, see the metal guillotine shears.

Why buy a press brake from Promash?

The press brake is a precision machine — the setting of the beams decides whether the angle will be the same along the whole length. With us you get a machine from the official importer, commissioning and training.

  • Official importer for Bulgaria, partner of Stürmer Maschinen.

Frequently asked questions

How much does a sheet metal press brake cost?

The manual press brakes are €270 (HSBM 305 HS) and €1,294.80 (HSBM 1020-10). The motorised ones are from €11,988 to €20,220. Prices include VAT.

What is an apron press brake?

A press brake in which the sheet is clamped by an upper beam, and the lower, swinging beam bends the edge. This way you bend thin sheet metal accurately, without a die and a punch.

Do you have a hydraulic press brake?

The press brakes we offer are manual and motorised apron types. If you are looking for another type, ask for a custom quote.

Can I see the press brake in person?

The showroom is in Plovdiv, 47 Kuklensko Shose Blvd, Monday–Friday, 09:00–18:00. Call +359 882 477 388 before visiting.

How are delivery and payment handled?

By Pigeon Express to an address or office; the delivery price is shown at checkout and paid to the courier on receipt. For the motorised press brakes over 400 kg, delivery is by arrangement. Payment by bank transfer, cash on delivery, tbi bank or UniCredit.
