Horizontal wood band saws

The horizontal band saw cuts logs into boards and beams where the wood is — in the yard, in the forest, in the workshop. The category has the Holzkraft HBBS 400 for €2,399 incl. VAT.

The HBBS 400 cuts logs up to 400 mm in diameter and up to 2500 mm in length, with a cutting width of up to 350 mm and a clearance above the blade of 150 mm. The blade is 2750 × 19 × 0.9 mm and moves at 14 m/s. The motor is 2.2 kW on 230 V, so the machine works from an ordinary socket. The feed is manual, the frame is steel, and the total weight is about 150 kg.

This is the machine for forest owners, carpenters and people who build with timber and want to decide for themselves what board they get. Band saw blades are in the woodworking accessories.
