Pneumatic saws and cutters from Promash

Pneumatic cutters and saws cut sheet metal, profiles, plastic and car windscreens with compressed air. They are light, have no cable and do not overheat during long work, which is why they are used in sheet metal work and in car repair shops. At Promash there are 7 Aircraft models with prices from €93 to €270 incl. VAT.

Types of pneumatic cutters

The pneumatic cutters in the catalogue are of four types: universal saws, a nibbler, sheet metal shears and special tools — for cutting and drilling and for cutting car windscreens. All work at 6.2–6.3 bar with a 1/4″ connection.

Universal saws (files)

USF PRO has 5000 rpm and a 10 mm stroke and cuts material up to 1.6 mm — for €93. USF mini is lighter (0.5 kg) and faster — 7500 rpm, material up to 1.2 mm. US-C PRO has 9500 rpm and consumes only 133 l/min.

Nibbler

BN PRO is a pneumatic sheet metal nibbler with 2600 rpm and a cutting width of 5 mm. It cuts curved and straight lines in the sheet without deforming it.

Sheet metal shears

BS Komposit PRO are pneumatic shears with 2600 rpm and a cutting width of 5 mm, with a composite body.

Special tools

LAG PRO cuts and drills sheet metal. SZ PRO is a tool for cutting car windscreens with 20,000 rpm.

How to choose a pneumatic cutter?

Choose according to the material and the shape of the cut: a saw — for profiles, tubes and cutting out holes; a nibbler or shears — for long cuts in sheet metal; SZ PRO — for glass only. Then compare the air consumption with the compressor's flow.

  • Material thickness. USF PRO — up to 1.6 mm, USF mini — up to 1.2 mm.
  • Consumption. From 133 l/min (US-C PRO) to 420 l/min (BS Komposit PRO).
  • Speed. From 2600 rpm for the shears to 20,000 rpm for the SZ PRO.
  • Weight. From 0.5 kg (USF mini, US-C PRO) to 1.5 kg (LAG PRO).

What are pneumatic cutters used for?

Pneumatic cutters are used in bodywork repair, in sheet metal work, when installing ventilation and gutters, and when cutting holes in sheet metal and plastic. SZ PRO is for replacing car windscreens. Universal saws are also used for cutting holes in plastic panels, where an angle grinder is too rough and a hand saw is too slow.

Before buying, work out the air: the BS Komposit PRO shears consume 420 l/min, and a small compressor with 180–250 l/min will not power them for continuous work. Saws such as the US-C PRO with 133 l/min are more modest and also work with a workshop compressor.

For thick material and straight cuts in the shop, a machine is more suitable — see all pneumatic tools or the sheet metal working machines in the catalogue.
