Screw compressors from Promash
The screw compressor is the machine for production that works with air all day: two screws compress the air continuously, quietly and with less wear than a piston. At Promash there are 223 Aircraft screw air compressors, with prices from €4,367 to €23,880 incl. VAT. For 23 of the largest models the price is on request — we send an individual quotation.
Types of screw compressors
Screw compressors differ in power, pressure and configuration: compressor only, screw compressor with a receiver, with a dryer and with speed control. The series shows what scale the machine is for.
A-MICRO SE — compact, 4 kW
A-MICRO SE 4.0-08 delivers 580 l/min at 8 bar with a 4 kW motor and only 60 dB. The -200 version has a 200 l receiver, and the K version has a dryer. They work in start-stop mode via a pressure switch and are also suitable for supplementing an existing system.
A-DUO-MICRO — with two receivers
A-DUO-MICRO SE 4.0-10 2×100 KK has two 100 l receivers, a dryer, automatic condensate drain, an oil separator and filters — a ready-made compressed air station.
A-PLUS — from 11 to 55 kW
The A-PLUS series is for workshops and factories: A-PLUS 11-13 delivers 1100 l/min at 13 bar, A-PLUS 16-10 — 2050 l/min, A-PLUS 31-13 — 3400 l/min, and A-PLUS 55-13 — 6400 l/min.
VS models with variable flow
A-K-MAX 1108 VS and A-PLUS 22-08 VS adjust the flow to the consumption — for example, A-PLUS 22-08 VS operates between 1350 and 3350 l/min. This way the compressor does not idle when the shop uses little air.
How to choose a screw compressor?
Choose according to the actual air consumption in l/min, the working pressure and the air quality you need. Then decide whether you need a receiver and dryer in the package or will add them separately.
- Flow and power. 580 l/min at 4 kW, 1100 l/min at 11 kW, 2050–2350 l/min at 15 kW, 3400 l/min at 30 kW.
- Pressure. 8, 10 or 13 bar. Higher pressure gives less air from the same power.
- Receiver. Screw air compressors with a 200, 270 or 500 l receiver or without a receiver — for connection to an existing system.
- Dryer. Models with K in the name come with a dryer — dry air for painting, pneumatics and machines.
- Noise. From 60 dB for the A-MICRO SE to 74 dB for the A-PLUS 55-13 — they are quieter than most piston compressors.

Where is a screw compressor used?
The screw compressor is for continuous air consumption: production lines, CNC machines with pneumatics, paint shops, woodworking, packaging, sandblasting. Where a piston compressor would be working at its limit, the screw compressor runs comfortably.
For a smaller workshop with intermittent consumption, a piston compressor is usually more economical. You will find hoses, reels and quick couplings for the network in the compressor accessories.
