Compressors and pneumatic tools from Promash
The air compressor is the heart of every workshop: it powers the impact wrench, the paint spray gun, the stapler, the sander and half the machines in the shop. This category contains all Aircraft compressors and pneumatic tools at Promash — 1,092 products with prices from €1.46 for a small accessory to €23,880 for an industrial screw compressor, incl. VAT.
What is in the category?
The category is divided into four parts: piston compressors, screw compressors, pneumatic tools and compressor accessories. Everything is from one brand — Aircraft, the Stürmer Maschinen brand for compressed air — so you choose the compressor, hoses and tools from one system.
Piston compressors
Piston compressors are 141 models from €135 to €8,850 — from a small oil-free 230 V compressor to stationary machines with a 500 l tank and 15 bar.
Screw compressors
Screw compressors are 223 models for continuous operation in production — from 4 kW and 60 dB to 55 kW, with or without a receiver and dryer.
Pneumatic tools
Pneumatic tools are impact wrenches, drills, sanders, polishers, saws and cutters, staplers, air and paint spray guns, tyre inflators.
Compressor accessories
Hoses, automatic reels, balancers, quick couplings and spare parts — everything you use to connect the compressor to the tool. This is also where the pneumatic components are that you look for when you extend the network in the shop.
How to choose an air compressor?
Choose the compressor according to the tools it will power. Add up the consumption in l/min of those that work at the same time, add a reserve and check the pressure they need. Then decide — piston for intermittent work or screw for continuous work.
- Tool consumption. A blow gun — about 150 l/min, an ISS Komposit 1/2″ impact wrench — 420 l/min, a W 125 PRO pneumatic angle grinder — 490 l/min.
- Pressure. Aircraft pneumatic tools work at 6–6.3 bar, compressors deliver 8, 10, 13 or 15 bar.
- Power supply. Small piston compressors run on 230 V, larger ones and screw compressors on 400 V.
- Air quality. For painting — an oil-free compressor or a dryer and filters.
- Duty cycle. If the compressor will start and stop several times an hour — piston. If it will run for hours without stopping — screw.

Who are compressors and pneumatic tools for?
Compressed air works everywhere there are bolts, paint, dust and workpieces: car repair shops and tyre fitters, paint shops, carpentry and furniture workshops, metalworking, construction, production lines.
Pneumatic tools are lighter than electric ones of the same power, have no motor that can overheat, and withstand heavy work. That is why in workshops the impact wrench, the ratchet and the sander are usually air-powered. Start with an air gun and a hose — and build up according to the work.
When you buy a compressor and tools together, think of the system: a compressor with sufficient flow, a hose of a suitable diameter and length, quick couplings and a reel that protects the hose from kinking. If the air has to reach several workstations in the shop, we will help you size the piping too.
