Industrial fans and dehumidifiers from Promash

The industrial fan moves air in a volume that a household one is not made for: it cools halls, extracts welding fume, dries after painting or supplies fresh air to a poorly ventilated room. At Promash there are Unicraft industrial fans in three groups — mobile, axial and centrifugal, with prices from €48 to €1,263 incl. VAT.

Types of industrial fans

The three types differ in how they move the air. The mobile fan blows freely towards people or the place you are cooling. The axial one also works with a hose. The centrifugal one creates pressure and is for ducting and extraction.

Mobile fans

Mobile fans range from the BV 301-3 floor fan for €48 to the large MV 80 and MV 901-2. The MV 901-2 delivers up to 27,300 m³/h with a 410 W motor on 230 V. This is the class for cooling workstations in a shop, warehouse or on site.

Axial fans

Axial fans MV and MVT are portable, on 230 V, with an airflow from 1560 to 7220 m³/h. An air transport hose (an accessory) can be connected to their outlet, so they carry fume and dust away from the workstation.

Centrifugal fans

Centrifugal fans RV range from 62 W to 3.8 kW, on 230 or 400 V, with an airflow of up to 4212 m³/h. They are for extraction and ducting, where the air must be pushed through a pipe.

How to choose an industrial fan?

First decide whether you are blowing freely, through a hose or through a duct. Then compare the airflow in m³/h with the volume of the room, check the 230 or 400 V power supply and the noise level if people work next to the fan.

  • Airflow. The BV floor fans are for a workstation, the MV 50 (9000 m³/h), MV 60 (14,400 m³/h) and MV 80 (25,200 m³/h) — for a hall.
  • Pressure. If the air passes through a pipe, a filter or an extraction hood, you need a centrifugal fan.
  • Power supply. The mobile and axial models are 230 V. The RV 305 and RV 350 centrifugal fans are 400 V.
  • Noise. The RV 145 P is 51 dB(A), the large centrifugal and axial models — from 77 to 89 dB(A).
  • Protection. The MV 30 is IP55, some of the centrifugal ones — IP54, suitable for a harsher environment.

Where are industrial fans used?

Industrial fans are used where heat, dust or fume get in the way of work: welding shops, metalworking, carpentry workshops, warehouses, car repair shops, construction sites. They are also used for drying floors and walls after renovation.

In summer one large mobile fan cools several workstations in a hall without air conditioning. In winter the same fans distribute the warm air from the heaters.

Frequently asked questions

How much does an industrial fan cost?

From €48 for the BV 301-3 floor fan to €1,263 for the MV 80, incl. VAT.

What is the difference between an axial and a centrifugal fan?

The axial one moves a lot of air against little resistance. The centrifugal one creates pressure and is for ducting, filters and extraction.

Are there 220 V fans?

Yes. All mobile and axial models and most centrifugal ones are 230 V. The RV 305 and RV 350 are 400 V.

Are there dehumidifiers?

At the moment the category contains fans. If you are looking for a specific device, write to us at +359 882 477 388.
