Cutting-to-size and sliding table band saws from Promash
Resaw band saws are the large band saws for tall blanks, blocks and slabs that an ordinary band saw cannot take. The category has 40 Holzkraft 400 V models: the HBS series and the FBS sliding table band saws. Prices start at €6,240 incl. VAT, and for the largest machines we prepare a quotation on request.
The HBS LL series comes in five sizes — 540, 640, 740, 840 and 940. On the HBS 540 LL 1.5-2 the band wheels are 530 mm and the cutting height at 90° is 350 mm; on the HBS 940 LL Vario they are 930 mm and 560 mm, and the band speed is adjustable from 300 to 1100 m/min. The manufacturer describes them as a precision version for aluminium, light alloys and special materials.
The FBS band saws have a sliding carriage and an arm for cutting beams, blocks and insulation materials. The FBS 740-2 F15 has a 1500 mm carriage, a cutting height of 500 mm and a cutting width of 710 mm. For a smaller workshop see the vertical band saws for wood.
