Vertical wood band saws from Promash

The wood band saw cuts with an endless blade — curved shapes, tall workpieces, resawing a board by thickness. The category has 34 Holzstar HBS vertical band saws with prices from €318 to €13,920 incl. VAT.

  • HBS 231-1 — cutting height 90 mm, for small workpieces. €318.
  • HBS 231-2 and HBS 231-3 — 152 and 165 mm, the HBS 231-3 has two blade speeds.
  • HBS 361-2 — 225 mm height, 340 mm width without the fence.
  • HBS 400 — 305 mm height, 3378 mm blade. €1,710.
  • HBS 471 (230 V) and HBS 473 (400 V) — 285 mm height and 465 mm width, 535 × 485 mm table. €2,039.

The cutting height is the most important number: it tells you how thick a board you can resaw. The width shows how wide a workpiece passes between the blade and the column. Band saw blades are in the accessories.
