Spindle moulders from Promash
The wood spindle moulder is the machine that gives furniture its character: the profile of an edge, the rebate of a cabinet door, the groove for a drawer bottom. Here are the TF spindle moulders from Holzkraft / Holzstar — from the benchtop TF 50 E for €390 to the TF 200 SE with a tilting spindle for €3,671 incl. VAT.
The main difference is in the tool size and the speeds. The TF 50 E works with small cutters up to 50 mm at 11,500–24,000 rpm. The TF 190 E accepts tools up to 200 mm and has four speeds from 1800 to 9000 rpm — a larger tool needs a lower speed. The SE models add a sliding carriage and a tilting spindle.
The TF 170 E and TF 190 E are offered in 230 V and 400 V versions. If your workshop is small and you need both planing and cutting, look at the UMK combination machines — on them the moulder is one of the five operations.
