Multifunctional 5-operation machines from Promash
The combination woodworking machine brings five operations into one: planer, thicknesser, circular saw, moulder and slot drilling. The idea is simple — a complete carpentry workshop where there is room for one machine. The category has two Holzstar models.
The UMK 6 is 230 V, with a 1 kW motor, planing up to 154 mm wide, a circular saw with a 200 mm blade and a cutting height of up to 65 mm. It weighs 49 kg and costs €1,171. The UMK 5-260 is the professional 400 V version: planing 260 mm, thicknessing up to 225 mm in height, a sliding table of 1300 mm and separate motors for the circular saw, the cutterhead and the moulder. It weighs 362 kg and costs €3,347.
The UMK 6 is for a hobby workshop and small runs. The UMK 5-260 is for a carpenter who makes furniture every day but has no room for five separate machines.
