Hydraulic presses from Promash

The hydraulic press is the machine a car repair shop or repair workshop can hardly do without: it is used to replace bearings, drive in bushings, and straighten shafts and profiles. At Promash there are 18 Unicraft hydraulic presses from 10 to 50 tonnes with prices from €334.80 to €14,388.

What hydraulic presses are there?

Our hydraulic presses differ in pressing force — 10, 15, 20, 30 and 50 tonnes — and in frame size. The compact TE models are for a workshop with little space, the standard E are floor-standing presses with a large working range, and the TOP series has a reinforced version and a model with a patented guiding system.

Compact: WPP 10 TE and WPP 15 TE

The WPP 10 TE has a width between the beams of 340 mm and a working range from 194 to 364 mm, and the WPP 15 TE — 500 mm and up to 457 mm. They cost €334.80 and €654. Suitable for small bearings, bushings and pins.

Floor-standing presses from 15 to 50 tonnes: E series

WPP 15 E, WPP 20 E, WPP 30 E, WPP 50 E and WPP 50 EF. The working range goes up to about 1,000 mm, and the width between the beams is from 500 to 730 mm. The WPP 30 E and WPP 50 EF have a two-stage hand pump: fast approach and slow, powerful pressing.

TOP series presses

WPP 15 TH TOP, WPP 50 BPHF TOP and WPP 50 BPF TOP. The WPP 50 BPF TOP is a reinforced version, and its drive is, at your choice, a hydraulic hand pump or a pneumatic lever — convenient if you have a compressor.

How many tonnes of hydraulic press do I need?

The tonnage is chosen according to the heaviest operation. For small bearings and bushings 10–15 tonnes is enough. For a car repair shop with hub and axle shaft bearings, a 20 or 30 tonne hydraulic press is most often sought. 50 tonnes is for heavy machinery, agricultural machines and straightening thick profiles.

  • Pressing force: take one with a margin — the press should not work constantly at its maximum.
  • Width between the beams: must fit the workpiece, together with the supports.
  • Working range and piston stroke: 150 to 200 mm of stroke on the floor-standing models.
  • Pressure gauge: shows the pressure and helps you avoid overloading the workpiece.

What is a hydraulic press used for?

The hydraulic press is used for removing and driving in bearings, bushings, gears and washers, for straightening shafts, axles and profiles, for bending and pressing during assembly. It works in car repair shops, maintenance workshops, agriculture and forestry, plant maintenance and training workshops.

The most common use is replacing bearings — with a hydraulic press the bearing goes in straight, without blows and without damaging the seat. For small parts and runs with little force the manual arbor press is faster. All types are in the metal presses.

Frequently asked questions

How much does a hydraulic press cost?

From €334.80 for the WPP 10 TE (10 t) to €3,802.80 for the WPP 50 BPF TOP (50 t). A 30-tonne hydraulic press, the WPP 30 E, costs €1,318.80, and the 20-tonne WPP 20 E — €886.80. Prices include VAT.

Do you have an electric hydraulic press?

The WPP presses in our catalogue are operated manually, with a hydraulic pump; the WPP 50 BPF TOP — optionally also with a pneumatic lever. If you need an electric drive, ask for a custom quote.

Is the press suitable for bearings?

Yes, this is one of its main uses. Choose the tonnage and the width between the beams according to the size of the bearing and the workpiece.

Can I see the press in person?

Our showroom is in Plovdiv, 47 Kuklensko Shose Blvd, Monday–Friday, 09:00–18:00. Call +359 882 477 388 in advance.
