Pneumatic tools run on compressed air from the compressor, not on electricity. They are lighter than electric ones, withstand heavy work and do not overheat. At Promash there are 192 Aircraft pneumatic tools and consumables — from impact wrenches and sanders to staplers and paint spray guns, with prices from €2.88 to €1,547 incl. VAT.
The tools are divided by the work they do: fastening and drilling, sanding and polishing, cutting, fixing with nails and staples, painting and sandblasting, blowing, tyre inflation and lubrication.
Impact wrenches 1/2″ and 3/4″ deliver up to 1600 Nm when loosening. There are also pneumatic drills up to 10 mm in steel, ratchets and hammer drills.
Sanders and polishers range from straight grinders at 25,000 rpm to 125 mm angle grinders and the PS 7 pneumatic polisher with a 178 mm pad.
Pneumatic cutters cut sheet metal, profiles and car windscreens — shears, sheet cutters and universal saws.
Staplers and nailers, pneumatic riveters, blow guns and paint spray guns, sandblasting guns, tyre inflators and silicone and grease guns. These are the tools most often bought together with the first compressor — they are cheap, and they are used every day.
First check the tool's air consumption in l/min and compare it with the compressor's flow. Then look at the working pressure and the connection. A tool that needs more air than the compressor delivers will lose power.

| Tool | Specification | Consumption | Price |
|---|---|---|---|
| BP PRO air gun | up to 11 bar | 150 l/min | €13 |
| BM L+R PRO drill | 10 mm in steel | 360 l/min | €59 |
| ISS Komposit 1/2″ impact wrench | up to 600 Nm | 420 l/min | €162 |
| W 125 PRO angle grinder | 10,000 rpm | 490 l/min | €206 |
| PS 7 polisher | diameter 178 mm | 400 l/min | €263 |
Pneumatic tools are standard in car repair shops, tyre fitters, sheet metal and paint workshops, in furniture production and on assembly lines. Where a tool works all day, air is more practical than a battery and a cable.
To work well, the tools must have enough air: a suitable piston compressor, a hose of the right diameter and quick couplings. The BP PRO R blow gun for €26 is a good start for any workshop.
One more tip from practice: put a little oil into the hose or fit a lubricator if the tool requires it, and drain the condensate from the compressor tank. This way rotary tools such as the impact wrench and the grinder last longer without repairs.
One whose flow is greater than the tool's consumption, with a reserve. For example, the W 125 PRO angle grinder consumes 490 l/min at 6.3 bar.
From €2.88 for consumables to €1,547 for the most expensive item in the category, incl. VAT.
Yes, 1/2″ and 3/4″ impact wrenches — for example the ISS-TT 1/2″ Mini Composite with up to 1600 Nm when loosening.
Yes, staplers and nailers and pneumatic riveters in the Pneumatic nailers and staplers category.
