Welding machines from Promash

The welding machine is the heart of every metalwork shop. At Promash there are 70 Schweisskraft welding machines — inverter stick welders, MIG/MAG wire-feed machines, TIG machines for steel and aluminium, plasma cutters and machines for treating welds — with prices from €193 to €11,398.80 incl. VAT.

Types of welding machines

Machines are divided by method: stick (MMA), wire in shielding gas (MIG/MAG), tungsten electrode in argon (TIG) and plasma cutting. Many models combine several methods.

Inverter stick welders

The EASY-STICK and CRAFT-STICK inverter stick welders range from 140 to 400 A, from €193. The models with "P" also weld TIG.

MIG/MAG welding machines

The EASY-MIG 181 Multi, CRAFT-MIG 201P Pulse and CRAFT-MIG 253 Pulse wire-feed machines weld with wire, stick and TIG, up to 250 A.

TIG welding machines

TIG machines are DC for steel and stainless steel and AC/DC for aluminium, from €695 to €10,668, all 230 V.

Plasma cutters and weld treatment

The CRAFT-CUT plasma cutters cut up to 55 mm of steel. The CLEANO machines clean welds electrochemically, and the EG grinders sharpen tungsten electrodes.

How to choose a welding machine?

Start with the material and thickness. Black metal and repairs — a stick welder. Sheet metal and production runs — MIG/MAG. Stainless steel and visible seams — TIG. Aluminium — TIG AC/DC or pulse MIG. Then check the current and the duty cycle.

  • Welding current. 140–160 A is enough for sheet metal and profiles up to about 6 mm, 200–250 A — up to 10 mm, 400 A — for heavy structures.
  • Duty cycle. It shows how many minutes out of 10 the machine works at maximum current — for example 60% for the CRAFT-MIG 253 Pulse and CRAFT-STICK 403 CEL.
  • Power supply. 230 V for most machines, 400 V for the CRAFT-STICK 253, CRAFT-STICK 403 CEL and CRAFT-MIG 253 Pulse.
  • Working with a generator. The EASY-STICK 141 needs a generator above 8.4 kVA — check this if you weld on site.

Where are they used?

Welding machines work in metalworking shops, in the production of structures, fences and gates, in car repair shops and sheet metal shops, in agriculture and machine maintenance. A 230 V stick welder is easy to carry to a site.

With the machine you will need a helmet, gloves and a table. See the welding helmets and the welding accessories.

For MIG/MAG and TIG welding you also need shielding gas — a cylinder with a pressure regulator, which is bought separately. A stick welder needs no gas, which is why it is the easiest start. If you are not sure which method is right for your work, describe the parts and the material to us — we will suggest a machine that you will not outgrow in a month.

Frequently asked questions

How much does a welding machine cost?

From €193 for the EASY-STICK 141 to €3,780 for the HIGH-TIG 230 AC/DC PLUS, incl. VAT.

What is a 3-in-1 welding machine?

A machine that welds with wire (MIG/MAG), with stick and TIG. These are the EASY-MIG 181 Multi, CRAFT-MIG 201P Pulse and CRAFT-MIG 253 Pulse.

Do they run on 220 V?

Most of them — yes, on 230 V. The CRAFT-STICK 253, CRAFT-STICK 403 CEL and CRAFT-MIG 253 Pulse are 400 V.

Which machine is for a beginner?

The EASY-STICK 141 or 161 inverter stick welder — it is light and runs on 230 V.

Can I see the machine?
