Clamps from Promash
The clamps in this category solve two different problems: how to hang a hoist on a beam without welding, and how to grip a sheet or plate so that you can lift it safely. At Promash there are 8 Unicraft clamps from 1 to 5 t — beam clamps for a beam and lifting clamps for sheet metal, with prices from €52 to €263 incl. VAT.
Types of clamps
The beam clamp attaches to the beam and provides a suspension point. The lifting clamp grips the load — a sheet, a plate, a profile — and lifts it. You often need both: one overhead, the other on the load.
Beam clamp (clamp for a beam)
It tightens onto the lower flange of an I-beam and provides a ring on which a manual hoist, a pulley or an electric hoist is hung. The Unicraft TK 1 is for 1 t and a 75–220 mm flange, the TK 2 — for 2 t. The TK 3 and TK 5 carry 3 and 5 t and fit a 80–320 mm flange.
Lifting clamp for sheet metal
The HKS series grips sheets, steel plates, beams and structural elements. It allows vertical lifting and a 180° rotation. The locking lever keeps the grip secure even when the direction of pull changes. The HKS 2 grips material up to 25 mm thick and lifts up to 2 t.
How to choose a lifting clamp?
With a beam clamp you look at the load capacity and the width of the beam flange. With a lifting clamp — the load capacity and the thickness of the material you will grip. Also check the minimum load: the clamp is not for very light sheets.
- Beam clamps: TK 1 (1 t) and TK 2 (2 t) — flange 75–220 mm; TK 3 (3 t) and TK 5 (5 t) — flange 80–320 mm.
- Lifting clamps: gripping range 0–20 mm for the HKS 1, 0–25 mm for the HKS 2, 0–30 mm for the HKS 3 and 0–50 mm for the HKS 5.
- Minimum load: for the HKS lifting clamps it is 10% of the rated load. Do not lift a 100 kg sheet with the HKS 5.
- Material hardness: the surface of the load must not be harder than 30 HRC.

Comparison of models
| Model | Type | Load capacity | Flange / grip | Price |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| TK 1 | beam clamp | 1 t | 75–220 mm | €52 |
| TK 5 | beam clamp | 5 t | 80–320 mm | €110 |
| HKS 1 | lifting clamp | 1 t | 0–20 mm | €80 |
| HKS 3 | lifting clamp | 3 t | 0–30 mm | €176 |
| HKS 5 | lifting clamp | 5 t | 0–50 mm | €263 |
Where are clamps used?
The beam clamp is the fastest way to make a suspension point in a shop or warehouse with I-beams: you tighten it and hang the hoist. The lifting clamp is indispensable in sheet metal working and welding, where sheets and plates are lifted and turned over many times.
The typical combination is a beam clamp, a chain hoist and a lifting clamp. This way one person lifts a sheet from the pallet and places it on the guillotine shear table or the welding table.

Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between a beam clamp and a lifting clamp?
The beam clamp attaches to the beam and the hoist is hung from it. The lifting clamp grips the load — a sheet or plate — and is hung on the hoist's hook.
Which beam clamp fits my beam?
Measure the width of the lower flange. The TK 1 and TK 2 are for 75–220 mm, the TK 3 and TK 5 — for 80–320 mm.
How thick a sheet does the lifting clamp grip?
The HKS 1 grips up to 20 mm, the HKS 2 — up to 25 mm, the HKS 3 — up to 30 mm, the HKS 5 — up to 50 mm.
How much does a hoist clamp cost?
Beam clamps are from €52 (TK 1) to €110 (TK 5), lifting clamps — from €80 to €263, incl. VAT.
How is it delivered?
