Electric hoists from Promash

The electric hoist is a chain lifting device that lifts the load at the press of a button instead of by hand — for workshops, shops, warehouses and anywhere the same thing is lifted many times a day. At Promash we offer 12 Unicraft electric hoists with a load capacity of 0.25 to 3 t — ten models on 400 V and two on 230 V, with prices from €575 to €3,719 incl. VAT.

Types of electric hoists

The models differ in load capacity, in the number of speeds and in the series. The 400 V models lift up to 6 m, the two 230 V models up to 3 m. All have IP 54 protection, so the difference is in how heavy and how fast you need to lift.

With one lifting speed

The EKZT 5-1, EKZT 10-1 and EKZT 20-1 have one speed each. They are for clear tasks: hook on, lift, lower. The Unicraft EKZT 5-1 lifts 500 kg at 7.7 m/min and is the most affordable 400 V model — €1,523.

With two lifting speeds

Models with "-2" in the name have a fast and a slow speed. The fast one saves time on the way up, the slow one gives you accuracy when you lower a die into the press or a workpiece onto the machine table. On the EKZT 10-2 these are 5.1 and 1.8 m/min with a load of up to 1 t.

The EKZT 503-2, 1003-2 and 2003-2 series

The more compact models in this series have an aluminium alloy gearbox housing, a built-in limit switch and thermal overload protection. They lift 500 kg, 1 t or 2 t at 8/2 or 4/1 m/min.

On single-phase 230 V power

The EKZT 250-1 lifts 250 kg at 3 m/min and the EKZT 500-1 lifts 500 kg at 4 m/min. Both run on 230 V, have a lift of 3 m and are the most affordable in the category — €575 and €779.

Electric hoist with a trolley

If the load has to be not only lifted but also moved along a beam, the hoist is hung on an electric hoist trolley. It is controlled from the same pendant, so you get a travelling hoist that carries the load along the I-beam.

How to choose an electric hoist?

Start with the heaviest load you will lift and add a reserve — the hoist must not work constantly at its limit. Then decide whether you need a second, slow speed, and check whether there is three-phase 400 V power on site — if there is not, choose one of the two 230 V models.

  • Load capacity. For 250 kg — EKZT 250-1 (230 V). Electric hoists for 500 kg — EKZT 5-1, 5-2 and 503-2, and on 230 V the EKZT 500-1. For 1000 kg — EKZT 10-1, 10-2 and 1003-2. For 2 t — EKZT 20-1, 20-2 and 2003-2. For 3 t — EKZT 30-2.
  • Speed. At 500 kg the speed is 7.7–8 m/min, at 2 t it drops to 2.6–4 m/min. A heavy load is lifted more slowly — this is normal.
  • Power supply. Ten models are for 400 V, 50 Hz. If you do not have three-phase power, the EKZT 250-1 and EKZT 500-1 run on 230 V.
  • Height. The lifting height is 6 m on the 400 V models and 3 m on the two 230 V models; the control cable is 6 m.

Where is the electric hoist used?

The electric hoist is installed where lifting is frequent and heavy: above a machine, above a workbench, on a beam in the warehouse. This way one person moves a load that would otherwise need two people or a forklift.

Typical places are metalworking and metalwork shops, car repair (engines, gearboxes), production halls, loading at a ramp. The hoist is hung with a hook from a beam clamp or a trolley on an I-beam.

Frequently asked questions

What is the price of an electric hoist?

Unicraft electric hoists cost from €575 (EKZT 250-1, 250 kg, 230 V) to €3,719 (EKZT 30-2, 3 t). Prices include VAT.

Is there a 230 V electric hoist?

Yes — the EKZT 250-1 (250 kg) and EKZT 500-1 (500 kg) run on 230 V. The other ten models are for three-phase 400 V. The electric winches also run on 230 V, for example the MES 250-2 and ESW 500.

What hoist do I need for 500 kg or 1000 kg?

For 500 kg — EKZT 5-1, 5-2 or 503-2, and on 230 V the EKZT 500-1. For 1000 kg — EKZT 10-1, 10-2 or 1003-2. If the load is often close to the limit, take the next class.

Can I see the hoist in person?

The showroom is in Plovdiv, 47 Kuklensko Shose Blvd, Monday to Friday, 09:00–18:00. Call +359 882 477 388 so we can check whether the model is on display.
