Gantry cranes

The mobile gantry crane is the solution for a workshop with no beam in the ceiling: you assemble it, hang a hoist on it and get a lifting point wherever you need it. Then you push it to another place. At Promash there are two Unicraft gantry cranes — for 1 t and for 2 t.

Unicraft PK 1 is for 1 t and costs €839, the PK 2 is for 2 t and costs €1,271. Both have a width of 2400 mm, a lifting height from 2200 to 3600 mm and a 74 × 120 mm beam. The height is adjusted without a load — with a lever and two safety bolts. They move on four wheels with parking brakes.

The gantry crane has no lifting mechanism of its own. A manual chain hoist or an electric hoist of a suitable load capacity is hung on the beam.
